Ramses Boomerang "Boomer" is a 14.3 to 15H bay straight Egyptian
with a wonderful gentle, intelligent temperament and natural sport horse conformation
and movement. Always "rounded", he is totally balanced and moves with
excellent drive and reach. He has tiny ears, huge eyes and nostrils,
a short head, short back and great tail. Although long retired, Boomer
placed top ten at the Egyptian Event in both 1989 and 1990, in the World Champion
Colts and Extended Futurity (1989) and Specialty (1990).
Boomer has been evaluated recently by Liz Salmon, who labeled him
as an "excellent sport horse".
Boomer is SCID and EVA negative. He is EBC nominated for
2007.
Boomer has a very rare and valuable pedigree and should cross extremely
well with many of the modern halter lines. Boomer is one of the last sons of
El Hilal, bred by Gleannloch Farm, by *Ansata Ibn Halima out of *Bint Nefisaa,
both imported offspring of Nazeer. El Hilal was a U.S. National
Top Ten Stallion in 1975, Canadian National Top Ten Stallion 1974, and sire
of many US national top ten winners, Canadian National Champion and Reserve,
and Australian Supreme Champion. *Ansata Ibn Halima ++ needs no introduction. His
impact on the breed has been immeasurable. He won U.S. Top Ten honors
three times, he was a multiple Class A and Regional Champion, and sired U.S.
national champions in halter and performance, race winners and international
champions.

El Hilal, Boomer's sire
Boomer's dam Ramses Safina was bred by Plum Grove Farm, and was by the
imported Nazeer son, *Ramses Fayek, out of the imported Seef daughter, *Ramses
Sadaka. *Ramses Fayek, imported into the US at the age of 12 years, was
1972 Region VI Champion and a Top Twenty at the US Nationals at age 14. He
sired ten national winners, numerous class A halter champions, and both the
National Champion stallion and champion futurity colt in 1978. Seef's role
through his offspring in the U.S. has been equally impressive. Seef, by Mashour,
appears in numerous EAO pedigrees and through exported offspring who have
been frequent winners at halter and performance.
*Ramses Fayek
The placing of the horses in Ramses Boomerang's pedigree is all
but unheard of in today's modern horses.
Nazeer, EAO Photo
All four of Boomer's grandparents were imported - 3 are Nazeer
offspring,: El Hilal, Bint Nefisaa, Ramses Fayek the 4th by Seef. It is
rare to have that many crosses to Nazeer, up that close. Read
more on this lineage.
In 2008, breed your best mare to Ramses Boomerang, one of
