All four of Ramses Boomerang's grandparents were imported - 3
are Nazeer offspring,: Ansata Ibn Halima, Bint Nefisaa, Ramses Fayek, and Ramses
Sadaka, the 4th sired by Seef.
The placing of the horses in Ramses Boomerang's pedigree is all but unheard
of in today's modern horses. He has Nazeer as his Great Grand Sire in three
of the four lines and in the fourth he is represented there through the line
of the mare Ramses Sadaka who also represents another very influential horse
in bloodlines of the USA today. That would be Seef. He is carried in the Imperial
Egyptian Stud program through Ibn Safinaz.
To say there are very few horses with Nazeer in their pedigrees in the USA
today, would not be the correct statement, however to have them as close as
they are in Ramses Boomerang's pedigree is. His pedigree has vey influential
horses with old bloodlines.

The first importations of what is termed "new" Egyptian horses
were made in 1958. The term "new Egyptian" refers to horses bred in post-World
War II Egypt, and especially at the new state stud outside Cairo, the Egyptian
Agricultural Organization (EAO). (The EAO was formerly known as the RAS, the
Royal Agricultural Society, before the departure of King Farouk in 1953). The "new" Egyptian
horses were also distinguished by a particular look, attributable to one stallion,
Nazeer. Foaled in 1934, Nazeer was rescued from the obscurity of a provincial
stallion station by General Pettko von Szandtner, the first director of the
EAO. Nazeer sired his first purebred foal in 1950 and his last in 1960, but
in that decade left a legacy that will echo for centuries.

Farm, by *Ansata Ibn Halima out of *Bint Nefisaa, both imported offspring of
Nazeer. El Hilal was a U.S. National Top Ten Stallion in 1975,
Canadian National Top Ten Stallion 1974, and sire of many US national top ten
winners, Canadian National Champion and Reserve, and Australian Supreme Champion.

by the imported Nazeer son, *Ramses Fayek, out of the imported Seef daughter,
*Ramses Sadaka. Seef, by Mashour, appears in numerous EAO pedigrees and through
exported offspring who have been frequent winners at halter and performance. *Ramses
Fayek, imported into the US at the age of 12 years, was 1972 Region VI
Champion and a Top Twenty at the US Nationals at age 14. He sired ten
national winners, numerous class A halter champions, and both the National
Champion stallion and champion futurity colt in 1978.
